We are back with a feature favorite- our Employee Spotlight! Each month, we like to recognize one of our hardworking employees and get to know them a little better. This month, we are featuring one of our Sales Managers, Jeremy Basilici.
"I am a native to Thomaston. My wife Ashley (my high-school sweetheart) teaches kindergarten at Upson-Lee and we have one child , Charlie who is in the second grade. Together we manage a hectic schedule of work, school, church, baseball, cub scouts, life group, and care for the cattle on our farm in The Rock. I have been involved with A&B my whole life, as it is a family business. As a child I spent most of my time playing in the enormous card board boxes the units would come in. Later in life I would count inventory, clean up the building and eventually , as I became older, ended getting to work on the jobs with the men. In 2000 I began in sales and management position and still perform those functions today".
Q: What are your hobbies outside of work?
A: Most of my free time is spent on the Farm , but I love anything outdoors, fishing, hiking, running and riding my bike. My odd interest is making handmade knives.
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: Not a t.v. person but I love to read, recently my favorite books are “Fearless” and “A Traveler’s Gift”.
Q: If you were stranded on a deserted island and could only take three items, what would they be and why?
A:This one is easy, a leather-man tool, a lighter, and most important my Burt’s Bees Chap stick.
